The Full Story

Act 1 - Performing 

Dan has been performing since he was in grade school. He started with singing at church, then found himself cast as a sheep in a school play in first grade. It was in that moment that he knew he loved to be on stage. 

Throughout school Dan kept singing. He performed in countless musicals and studied voice privately with Meredith Reed at the Glens Falls Music Academy. He performed at Glens Falls High School under Pam Granger and Lake George Youtheatre under Mickey Luce. Then at college, Dan was in an award-winning all male A Cappella group, The University of Rochester Midnight Ramblers. He was also fortunate enough to take voice lessons at the Eastman School of Music.

After college, Dan had worked as a lunch-lady, an insurance agent, a pizza delivery boy, a director of a non-profit, a custodian, a counselor, and a bank teller / concierge. And after all those experiences he learned....he didn't like any of 'em.  After working at a theater, Dan decided he wanted to be back on stage and see if he could perform for a living.

Dan found success at a few regional theaters in New England, such as Seacoast Repertory Theatre and Patrick Dorow Productions. Dan was even nominated for the Seacoast Spotlight Awards Best Actor in a Musical for his portrayal of Dave in the Full Monty at PDP. After getting a taste of live performance again, Dan learned that his passion extended beyond being on stage, and into composition. 

Act 2 - Writing

After a fun conversation with a friend, Dan was struck with inspiration for a silly song. Within a week he had written half a dozen uniquely styled songs. He has since released an original EP and an additional single which can all be found on any major streaming platform as well as for free on this very site; Go to the music tab for download links!

Also in his late 20s, Dan began boring his friends with very longwinded, very detailed stories. These stories have now become scripts and story concepts for tv, film, podcasts, and even children's books. He has over 35 concepts and a handful of finished scripts.
